ABOUT THE PAINTING... 'Golden Autumn' is another depiction of one of my favourite places in the fall, Gibb Road. This is painted near the north end of the road looking south ('Gibb Road' was painted looking north.) This is a very large and dynamic work where I wanted the viewer to feel as though they could step into the painting and go for a quiet walk. Comments made at the gallery by people viewing it have remarked just that.
