ABOUT THE PAINTING... This is a portrait of a beautiful owl I photographed many years ago at the Toronto Zoo. By far the best looking, most regal owl I have ever seen. The eyes of this bird were so bright and magnificent! I painted this a while back and kept it my own collection because I nailed it. I painted it on canvas and gave it a complimentary portrait style background using many glazes of paint and mediums. One of my own personal favourites.
